Isle of Man Transport has announced that the Manx Electric Railway will operate tram services on Mondays and Fridays in March. These services will only run when Bus Vannin is experiencing strike action. As during the ten-day strike which ended in the early hours of March 3rd, these services will be treated like buses for ticketing. Standard bus fares will apply to all services and school children can use their relevant SCH travel cards to travel to and from school. The usual Go Silver, Go Gold, Go Places and Go Saver principles will also apply.

The timetable is as follows:

Ongoing track renewal works around Ballaglass may cause slight delays to the times displayed, as single line working will be necessary as track renewal on the landslide track is completed.

IoM Transport says it expects to provide link buses to pick up passengers arriving at Derby Castle and take them to Lord St.
