The Manx Electric Railway has received four nominations for the British Trams Online ‘Tram of the Year’ awards, with both Trailers 19 and 26 to potentially top the polls after their return to service during the 2023 season. The superbly restored Trailer No.19 has been made serviceable again after being stored for over half a century.
The Manx Electric Railway has also been nominated for "Tramway of the Year" whilst the railway’s 130th anniversary celebrations are also in the running for ‘Event of the Year’.
