Snaefell Mountain Railway - Services Suspended Manx Radio - 22nd September 2017

SMR Car No.1 was one of only two cars in operation on Tuesday 12th September. The line has suffered from a severe shortage of serviceable stock recently, not helped by the wrecking of Car 3 in March last year and the grounding of Car 2 after a runaway incident in August.

Closed today due to technical issues

"The Snaefell Mountain Railway service has been suspended this morning.

Infrastructure officials say technical issues have caused the closure - though they'll be providing an update later in the day."
