The MERS regrets to announce that Mr Dennis Shaw passed away on the 29th June aged 92. Dennis served the MER for many years as Stationmaster at Laxey and was often to be found acting as conductor on the winter service. Dennis retired from MER service in 1989. The funeral service will be held at Douglas Borough Crematorium at 10am on Friday 7th July, Family flowers only, donations to RNLI.
