The new Minister of the DOI, Ray Harmer MHK, has been interviewed by Manx.Net. Mr Harmer wishes to see minimal disruption to the Horse Tram service whilst the long awaited Promenade refurbishment work takes place. The original grandiose scheme featuring shared space, trams on the walkway and block paving appears to have been dropped in favour of a simpler option. Mr Harmer's comments can be viewed HERE.
