At around 10am on Tuesday 7th July 2015, Winter Trailer Car 58 suffered a serious derailment and subsequently overturned at Laxey, close to Mines Road. The incident occurred whilst the car was being shunted over pointwork which was installed during the Winter of 2013/14.
