"Summer has officially arrived at the Island's highest peak with the start of this season's Snaefell Sunset Dinners.
Operating every Wednesday and Friday evening from 17 June until 4 September 2015, they offer visitors and residents the chance to enjoy the high life.
Three menu options feature a selection of Manx produce such as kipper paté or Greeba flat cap mushrooms with feta cheese for starters. Homemade fish pie, Manx beef in red wine and wild mushroom sauce and braised Manx lamb shanks in a rich rosemary, port and redcurrant sauce are just a few of the main courses on offer. Bookings for Snaefell Sunset Dinners should be made to the Snaefell Summit Restaurant, tel 01624 673631 between 9am and 4.30pm. Sunset dinners cost £30 per person on Wednesdays, £35 on Fridays including starter and main course and tram travel from Douglas or Laxey. Trams from Ramsey are available from 17 July to 4 September 2015.
The Sci-Fi Solstice event taking place at the Snaefell Summit on Saturday (21 June 2015) is fully booked.
Bookings are being taken for the Indian Hill Station themed dinners on 3 and 10 October 2015 plus the Pie in the Sky stargazing nights on 11 and 12 September and 16 and 17 October 2015.
